It is not uncommon to hear that we are all 'one big family' or that we are 'not separated'. We hear or read that we are interconnected, but what does this actually mean?
We can make a logical conclusion that we all breathe the same air, we share the same space, and therefore we must be connected. Right?
We may also think that we all have feelings, or that we all have a heartbeat, so this must make us all the same. In this way, we can draw many conclusions, but let's forget about these ideas and concepts and let's investigate the Nature of our Being.
When we investigate the Nature of our own Being, or when we do Self-inquiry, we realize that we are not this body, the mind, the thoughts, and emotions. We are the Awareness, in which the universe appears. It has always been like this, whether we were aware of it or not.
We are Pure Consciousness, impersonal, with no limits, no identity. Emptiness, Pure Being.
Just for the sake of this article, we can also call this 'God'.
We may have read or heard that God lives in everything, and that everything appears in God, through God. God is the Essence of existence. This is true.
So, our True Nature is free from being this or a that. Our True Nature is fulfillment Itself, absence of lack, of suffering, and not limited or dependant on the body, the mind, or anything else.
See, this is how we are all connected. We are all One. We share the same Consciousness, or we can say that Consciousness is all there is.
Consider this - not the idea of consciousness, but Consciousness itself.
There is only God, and God is the Light that shines through us all. God is the Single Witness to the appearance of the universe, and the universe appears in God, not separate from God.
God, the universe, and ourselves are not separate. Our Awareness comes from the same Source of Consciousness.
See, interconnectedness is not some mental concept or understanding derived from linear or logical thinking. We do not have to entertain thoughts of Oneness. Our interconnectedness is quite obvious. We experience the interconnectedness of all things, and this experience goes by the name of Love.

Our Empty Nature

It is obvious
When we know, through direct experience, that we are the Consciousness in which all appears, we intuitively know that the world is 'not two'. There are many experiences, but only One Experiencer. There are many masks, but only One Face behind all masks.See, this is how we are all connected. We are all One. We share the same Consciousness, or we can say that Consciousness is all there is.
Consider this - not the idea of consciousness, but Consciousness itself.
