Most of us, if not all of us, have wondered about creation and our relationship to the world.
We may have asked questions, such as How was the universe created? Who created the universe? What happened before the universe was created? Who made God? How did all of this happen?
In response, we usually receive religious or scientific answers that do not really satisfy us. We are left with doubts, and have to cling to a certain concept or belief that dulls our uncertainties.
In the author's case, when he asked these questions as a toddler, he was told that "One day when you die and go to heaven, Jesus will tell you all the answers."
Sounds familiar...?
The dream-problem is happening specifically in the dream-world, so an answer or a solution needs to appear in the dream. Makes sense?
However, upon waking up from the dream, we do not continue to run away from the lion or continue to ask for shelter or for help. Waking up, it is clear that there is no lion, and there is no dream-world. We need not find solutions for the dream-problems. See, it is not that our dream-problem is solved, but in fact, it never existed!
So, we know for sure that the dream is not real and it has no substance. We just have to wake up.
See, we falsely believe that we are a separate-self, an object trapped in time and space, and surrounded by other objects. In this way, we believe that we are in trouble.
However, just as with the dream, when we wake up from this dream, from this illusion of life, we realize that this was also not real. We just have to wake up.
But, for the time being, and as long as we are dreaming this dream, we need a solution. Just as we needed a dream-solution in the dream-world.
So, what do we do?
We get attached to this and hold an aversion to that. We spend so much time indulging in what is created, yet we spend so little time asking about the creator.
See, the purpose of this theory or concept of creation, is to bring about the curiosity of a creator. Creation cannot happen without a creator, right? So, this is where we can turn our attention. Turning away from all that is created, we start to look for the creator.
This initiates the search for God, the search for our Self, our True Nature. It starts an investigation inwards, into the Source of all things. We start to check up. Accordingly, we start to wake up.

A dream
Let's consider a dream. Let's say, for example, we are dreaming that a lion is chasing us. In the dream-world, we are in trouble. The dream-character is trying to escape the lion, and it needs to find a place to hide, or it needs to ask someone where to hide. Or, something like this. The dream-problem is happening specifically in the dream-world, so an answer or a solution needs to appear in the dream. Makes sense?
However, upon waking up from the dream, we do not continue to run away from the lion or continue to ask for shelter or for help. Life and living
Now, let's consider what we call life. In life, we also face problems. We have fears, such as the fear of death. We have questions, such as How was the universe created? and What happens after death? and Where was I before I was born?See, we falsely believe that we are a separate-self, an object trapped in time and space, and surrounded by other objects. In this way, we believe that we are in trouble.

Creation and the created
Coming back to the concept of creation, we are generally very much entangled and caught up in what is created. We question why bad things happen to good people, we wonder why evil exists, etc.We get attached to this and hold an aversion to that.
