This article is inspired by a recent conversation with a friend, as well as a series of experiences the author had in the previous week.
The conversation and experiences were interesting and we may be able to relate to these topics in our own ways.
She explained to the author that there was a fear of the unknown. The author could relate very well, because at the beginning of this year, the author found himself in exactly the same situation.
The author went on to remind his friend that absolutely anything is possible. We never know what may happen. Sometimes, it may seem like there is no possible solution to our situation, but against all odds, things work out just fine.
Other times, things may seem 100% certain and sure, but to our surprise, events simply do not unfold in a rational way, and we experience a completely different outcome.
Therefore, all we can do is trust that in the present moment, we are doing the right thing, and then surrender to the process. We have to trust.
The author attended an event and the event went on longer than anticipated. This meant that the author would have missed his train back home and had to wait quite some time for the next train. The online schedule showed that the train already departed, but the author stayed open to the possibility that maybe the train would still be there.
To the author's surprise, when he came to the train station, his train just pulled in! It was about 20 minutes late and arrived right on time to jump on.
Next, the author had to take a bus, and the online schedule showed that the bus already left, but the author stayed open to the slight possibility that the bus may still be there. When the train stopped, the author got off and ran to the bus stop. The bus already pulled out of the bus stop and was parked on the corner, about to drive off. Again, the author could jump on and all was well.
Four days later, the author had to go into town, but was awaiting an Amazon parcel. Online, the parcel showed that it would only be delivered a few hours later, and this meant that the author had to stay home and wait for the parcel. However, just 5 minutes later the doorbell rang, and the parcel was there.
The following day, the author had an international flight booked. All was planned precisely, well in advance, and everything was in place. Everything indicated that the trip would happen and that all was well. However, at the boarding gate, due to some technical issue, the author could no longer fly and had to return home.
Even though things seemed 100% certain and "fixed" in the above cases, the reality was very different. We never know what is really going to happen - until it happens! We only know for sure, when the situation is directly experienced in and through our awareness.
See, we simply never know what could unfold for us. The impossible is definitely possible, and we get small reminders of this, constantly. We just have to acknowledge them.
The one and only Consciousness, the Divine Power, that dreams this world into existence, is also the same power that can dissolve this dream, or make anything and everything appear in this dream.
When we remain open to the fact that anything is possible and that anything can happen for us, we will never lose hope. We can let go of our worries and fears and simply surrender to the Present.

The unknown
A friend of the author told him that she has been considering resigning from her work. This has been coming for a long time, but she did not follow through with the resignation, as she was not sure of what will happen next. She explained to the author that there was a fear of the unknown. Not what it seems
The following experiences happened during the same week that the author had the above discussion with his friend. The author attended an event and the event went on longer than anticipated. Letting go of worries
Now, let's think about what was shared above.Even though things seemed 100% certain and "fixed" in the above cases, the reality was very different. We never know what is really going to happen - until it happens! We only know for sure, when the situation is directly experienced in and through our awareness.
