The Divine Dream

When we use the term "Consciousness" in this piece, it has the same meaning as "God" or "Self" or "Divine Mother". It is not something separate or different from our very own True Nature.

Every life that is lived, is the dream of Consciousness. It is the wish of Consciousness to have this variety of experiences, which we refer to as "life".

There are many lives lived, but Consciousness is the only One living these lives.

If and when it is the divine wish of Consciousness to want to have a certain experience, this experience will be dreamt into existence.

For example, if Consciousness wants to know what it is like to be a homeless drug addict who sleeps under a bridge, this will be the experience that Consciousness dreams into existence. Simultaneously, if or when Consciousness wants to know what it is like to be a monk, living in silence in a cave, then this life will be dreamt into existence.

The same goes for the experience of being a soldier on the frontline of war, as well as the enemies of the soldier on the frontline of the war.

The mirror

These dreams, or lives as we call them, are solely and only experienced and known by Consciousness. Thus, there is no such thing as a "higher and better" life, or a "lower and worse" life. All these experiences and lives are meaningful for Consciousness.

Life, as it is experienced now, and as it is right now, is not a mistake that has to be fixed or improved. It is the way that Consciousness wants it to be.

There is no need to imagine that this "separate self" has to level up and become better and higher or holier than another. There is no "other" to overtake or to be compared to. There is no "other" to compete against. It is like trying to look prettier than the one in the mirror.

So, one life is not "holier" than another. A life full of suffering and struggling is the suffering and struggling of Consciousness alone. The same goes for joys.

Because it is only Consciousness that lives in and through all forms of life, there is no "one" that is holier or better than another. These discriminative concepts and ideas have nothing to do with reality.

See, it is like having the idea or belief that outside, there is a big rainstorm happening and that there are heavy grey clouds, but in reality, the sun is shining brightly in a perfect blue sky. The idea that is entertained, does not change or impact the reality.

Let's take a few moments to consider this...

Waking up

It is like this, whether Consciousness decides to acknowledge it willingly and knowingly, or if Consciousness decides to stay dreamful and to pretend that She is lost in Her own dream.

It can happen, and it does happen, that Consciousness decides to wake up in Her own dream, and to acknowledge HerSelf in the dream.

This waking up happens only if and when our Divine Mother wants to, and there is nothing that the idea of a "separate self" can do to make this happen.

Whether this happens or not, does not matter, because the dream was never real.
